A-518 or 46RH transmission

Hi, need to know how long a A-518 or 46RH 4x4 transmission is. I have conflicting info on this I know how long the 2 wheel drives are but can't get a solid answer on the 4 wheel drive, I have info that says everything from 27 to 40 inches, can't think they vary that much. Help!!!

Well it's between 24-28 inches. I can't give you a definite answer because of castings and what not. And I just don't have a definite number however I can guarantee it's going to be around 25 inches.
