Hello!

I've had a 2014 ram 1500 laramie since new. For the past 6 years, I've always set the auto temperature at 73-74 degrees and the AC would regulate the temperature in the cabin.

Just recently, the AC will not blow cold air when auto is selected. However if I choose AC and put them temperature to "Lo", it will blow ice cold air.

I've brought it to a couple shops but all they do is run a standard AC test and tell me the air blows at 55 degrees.

Does anyone have a guess at what relay or switch could be bad?

Again, the AC works great when I manually select AC and turn temperature down to lower settings, however it no longer blows cold when in auto mode.

Thanks in advance.

Logic tells ya its in the auto sensing side of things. Temp sensor, aspirator motor (shows as under steering wheel area) or temperature thermistor. The asperator thing sounds to be like a recirc fan. To test it use like a napkin or something and see if it will stay sucked up against the grate.
