Just bought used 2011 Ram 1500 and noticed the ac changes to recirculate on its own. Truck has manual ac controls so that eliminates "auto" issue others have posted on. Just not sure why it does this.

Not yet. Can't find anyone with any answers.

Watch where your temp knob is set. If it's set to max cooling it automatically selects recirculate.
