Most hood manufacturers are using fiberglass, so if you're set on a steel hood you'll be looking for a long time. If you're worried about fiberglass hoods, they have come a LONG way from the days of cracks and flying off while driving. I've had one on mine for almost 3 years with zero issues.
I have the suncoast hood and the only thing I notice is it does lift a bit more at high speeds, or in wind storms; then again, I had an oem Explorer hood let go and take out the top of the cab on a work vehicle. A lot of the fiberglass hoods have no structural issues and good fitment, so it's just food for thought. Steel hoods are slim pickings in the aftermarket these days.
