Just put new tie rods/ends, track bar and steering gearbox on my truck. Steering box still has play all they way from 10-2, or so. Warranty will void if i adjust the gearbox. Everyone ive talked to says there is no way to get rid of all the play. Does anyone know of a better gearbox or any fix for this? the play is after the gearbox, not before.

I would say since it's anew box and you can clearly see slop in it it's bad or not adjusted correctly. Take it back and check it with another unit. You should have checked it prior to putting it in. I hear good things about the redhead steering boxes.

Are you sure it's in the box? You said you replaced the tie rod ends but not the pitman arm or intermediate shaft. Also maybe the idler arm if it's two wheel drive. Just a thought for what it's worth.
