Aftermarket Y-pipe?s
Ok does anybody make a direct fit y-pipe with or without cat in something bigger then 2 inches into cat and 2.5 out? I want something like 2.5 into cat and 3 inches out. 2 inches isn't very performance oriented at all and I am doing several perfromance upgrades and why add headers if they are going to be restricted to a tiny ass 2 inches? I need a new cat as my truck won't run over 45 right now and has right at 90k miles on it so the normal stopped up cat has occured. I can't have it done just yet as I am in Iraq until next month at which time I will be getting new exhaust run on it but I think full exhaust custom ran locally is gonna cost me more then I want to spend. Thus the reason for a premade direct fit y-pipe cause I know it will be cheaper then having it custom made. Any manufacturers that you guys know of? And please don't say Magnaflow as they are a direct factory replacement 2 inches and all.

magnaflow part#23285... about $185 shipped on ebay and it includes the mandrel bent head pipes ... its not 3" but.... 3" wont really help performance either unless you've done a lot under the hood...
The only y-pipe I saw was for the Spintech mid-length headers.Check with Hi-potek
That is the part in my original post that I said I knew about and refuse to use. It has 2 inch pipes from the manifolds/headers into a cat and 2.5 out. Same as my original, if I ma replacing it I am going to go with something that will improve performance rather then the restrictive small stuff. And yes 3 inch exhaust will help the trucks performance. How big is the factory stuff from the manffold? 2 inches. Oh and I have done pretty much all I can do to help air get in so I have to do something to help the air get out. I have a MP open element air cleaner, 52mm throttle body, and an M1 intake so all that extra air needs to get out of the Gibson headers I have for it as well. 3 inch will help alot.
