I recently got an AIRAID MXP setup off ebay for a 2007 Hemi. I did a bunch of research and it seemed it would fit the 4.7...yup!!! it does. it is just a bit too loud for me when really getting on the gas...specially since I have my first child on the way.

Here is a video of some before and after...........

^ the pre 2008 4.7L and post 2008 4.7L have identical TB location, so it should fit. (My intake on my 2010 is advertised to be for a 2007 and earlier 4.7L).

I think so. Haven't tried it but from the info here it sounds like it would fit...

EDIT: IGNORE THAT lol that's NOT correct, an 09 hemi intake won't fit!

I think the older hemi intake will fit the 4.7L, not the newer hemi intake. The older hemi has the TB in the same location as both the old and new 4.7L (back of intake on top of engine). The new hemi has the TB mounted towards the front of the intake and it is vertical, not horizontal...

Sorry for any confusion.

The air rad MXP kit 300-232 is a direct bolt up for a 08 4.7 if that helps.
based on the instructions its also good for the previous gen 4.7. As i understand it the 08 was the first gen of the current 4.7l so it may be a bit differnt. ill post pics when my kit arrives if any one is interested in the hook up point.

I can guarantee that the TB location of the 2007 and older 4.7L and the 2008 and newer 4.7L is identical. The intakes are interchangeable, the only thing you might need to do is purchase a coupler to connect from the intake tube to the TB (cheap and can be bought online). I think the correct size is 3.25".

I'm using an airaid MIT for a 2007 and older 4.7L on my 2010 4.7L. it fits perfect, just had to buy a coupler.

2003- 2012 4.7 have the same TB location. The 2003-2008 HEMI also has the same TB location. Some 6.7Ls can also share the same intake kits. 2009 is when the HEMI setup really changed with the TB location. the airbox on all is exactly the same, Its only when you get to the 09+ HEMI that the intake tube changes.
