Hey I'm new the the forums, so hello to everyone from Idaho!

I have a 2010 Ram Powerwagon That I got in a trade. I got it with the transmission removed and they said it had a bad flex plate, turns out it was a spun 7 and 8 rod bearing! anyways new engine and everything works great now,

Just

I'm tired of the TMPS light and warning in the middle.

So I decided to disable it. but I'm having a problem

I have also AlfaObd, from a previous car

***and i searched a bunch but came up with the same results....1 disable tmps basic and 2 premium ***and then 3 reset radio frequency hub with coded pin..(mine is 1968)...

I disabled Tmps in Body computer - car configuration change -
- Vehicle config 2: tire pressure system present
was set to yes,
set to not set,
and
- Vehicle config 2: TPM premium
Was set to yes
Now set to not set
Then I reset the Radio Frequency Hub with the Pin that is read from the hub, in my case 1968.

But still in messages (on the dash when I turn the key on) I keep receiving "Service Tire Pressure Monitoring System".....,.however the tire Light is off!

The ugly (!) Tire orange light on the dash went off, but now every time i turn on the truck, the middle screen defaults to
"Tire Pressure Monitoring System Fault"

which obbiously it has to have (because I disabled it in the settings.lol)

***Realistically I think i have something else to disable, but everyone who has any type of write up has a newer ram that is within the ram 2013+ powernet, with different options, and mine being a 2010 doesn't have anything obbious to disable.

What else do I need to disable or change?

- Because the settings turned the light off in the corner of the cluster (!), just not the logic in the error message console display. Instrument cluster has settings just none to turn off tmps. ill upload screenshots tomrrow. oh and i reset all the modules and unplugged the battery for a day.

Am I missing something or are Gen 4's just cursed with a weird transistion from dodge to ram without any realistic support? I can buy the sensors, cost isn't an issue, I just would rather not bc my 2013 ram 3500 was disabled in the same way without problems.

Lower the psi as low as it allows you to .... that is what disables it completely and won't show up on your messages ...
