I hear you loud and clear!
I did a search all the way to Florida to Nebraska looking for a 2012, 2500, crew, Hemi, Laramie. They are pretty scarce right now for some reason.
As far as incentives... Im not sure who will know the answer to that other then a dealer that will get the advance notice but even at that they probably wont know until a few days prior. All I know is the rebates are pretty good right now and typically they are the best at the end of the calendar year.
Have you had your dealer do a truck search for you with the exact options you want? If there are none available you can always order one. It is my understanding that if you order one while the current rebates are running you can get them. And if the rebates are better when it shows up you can take the current ones.
Also, FYI, a Dodge dealer in Nebraska told me that his Ram rep told him in 2012 Dodge is cutting back production on 3/4 ton gas pickups. His explanation was it is because people are buying gas pickups over the diesel trucks and the diesel trucks are a better profit truck... Now I cannot say for sure this is true but according to that dealer the only way you are going to be able to get the Hemi in a new 3/4 or 1 ton is to order it by mid 2012.
Good luck with your search. I would say to you NOT to settle! If you are buying a brand new truck there is no reason to not get exactly what you want.
Just my 2 cents.
