I was wondering if any-one has dyno'd their 4.7 ? It would be interesting to see what the little 4.7 has at the rear wheels compared to what superchips/diablo is posting on their web site

I don't know of anyone with the new 4.7L that has, but I can say that superchips is honest, I've seen their dynos compared to customers actual dynos on other vehicles and they are about spot on. I plan to dyno mine in about a year or two once I have all the bolt on stuff I want installed. I'm hoping to get as close to 300rwhp as possible, which might be a hair optimistic, but should be close.

If you find one elsewhere, please post it. I'm pretty sure I've seen a few dakota 4.7L guys post theirs on other sites (same engine) and they were hovering around 250hp at the wheels or so.

dyno 4.7

I hear you, There is one shop in my area that does dyno's by appointment. I'm thinking of going just cuz it sounds fun. My son just bought a new hyundai genesis coupe 3.8 and wants to get his done also.

Do you have a tuner? It'd be nice to have real comparisons of stock and tuned to compare to superchips site if you do it. The genesis is a pretty quick little car.

Keep in mind, every dyno is different, and every dyno operator is different, so you may not end up with the advertised numbers. What would be important to look at is that you see the same gains (50 hp max, 16 hp peak) as what superchips posted. Same operator and same dyno to compare.

You may dyno yours and get 235 rwhp and I could dyno mine and get 260 rwhp with no actual differences except the dyno and the operator.
