I think the only way you can do it is if you order the BakFlip cover and BakRak together (which is not cheap). Not sure you can use a Bakflip cover with a third party rack. You might contact them directly to find out for certain. I wanted one for mine but they do not make a model (yet) for trucks with the Ramboxes. They have three models.

That would be great if it did. I would love to have a rack I can remove when necessary but keep the back covered at all times (rack in or out). I only need the rack to haul kayaks and would not need it in all the time. Please keep us posted on what you find out.

My earlier post may have been unclear. I have the Bakflip F1 on my truck now and I have the Ramboxes. What they do not make is the rack and cover combo system for trucks with the Rambox. I can get the rack that goes in the trailer hitch receiver and works with roof racks, but I sometimes pull a trailer full of camping gear when we go on weekend floats. Ideal situation is to keep my current F1 cover closed, have a rack that hauls the kayaks, and keep the receiver open to haul a trailer. Yeah, I know, I am asking too much but a man can dream, can't he?

I am not clever (or brave) enough to try a fab like that on my truck. Now I would consider selling my F1 and trading up if they ever make a rack/cover combo that works with the Rambox. Until then, I am probably better of modding my trailer to hold multiple yaks.

Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. I could not find on their site whether they would work for trucks with the Rambox. Also, it is perfectly suited for a work truck but not for hauling kayaks. I would need to be able to install the kayak carriers that would help protect the boat and prevent it from sliding. Regardless, I am going to look into and maybe contact the company to see if they have an option that will work for me. Thanks again for the info!
