ive got the garmen 430n nav system with the alpine speaker upgrade in my 2012 ram quad cab. of course this system comes with that little subwoofer under the passenger rear seat. i have 2 10" kicker comp subs i took out of my 2005 ram and they are already in the box that fits perfectly under the seat.

my question is: has anyone installed subs and amps onto the factory radios? i want to keep all the speakers in my doors and roof, and just want to add a pair of subs to the garmen nav system. i dont know if it has any outputs or whats behind the dash and how much wire cutting im going to have to do. any ideas, have you done it and what kind of problems should i expect?:4-dontknow:

thanks,
don johnny.

Define... "Upgrade" :D:D:D

Best bet is a line out converter, that will give you a signal source for a set of RCA's to plug into an aftermarket amp, then get you an enclosure and subwoofers, and boom!

You are asking the most asked question on this site i believe

You will likely get many responses, many configurations, diagrams, images, etc

Have fun
