when i come up to a stop sign i apply the brake and it comes to a stop very smoothly, when i let it off slightly to creep up slightly it surges as if the brakes are sticking or as if the tranny is engaging a bit off? this is hard to describe. do any of you have this sort of issue>?

If you have the big fuel tank, just get used to it
it is not really noticeable with the smaller gas tank

I used to think it was the gas surging from the stop, but you only feel it once & liquid does not surge only one time

it has to be either the brakes or the transmission making an adjustment

Try shutting off the HILL START ASSIST on your EVIC ( instrument panel )

you are talking about the thunk that seems to be in the transmission when you come to a full stop. this is a surging that happens if you are at a dead stop....after the thunk... then let off the brakes slightly.. it hunts forward like the rotors are warped or something
