For the automatic car washes where you put your front wheel into the convaer belt, do you just put the tranny in neutral or should i flip the button as well and put the transfer case in neutral (I only ask because if your pulling a 4x4 behind a motor home you turn your dial to neutral and since all four of my wheels are being pushed along in the same manor at the car wash do I do this to?)

Tranny in neutral, transfer case in 2wd. It is such a short distance it won't matter.

Never had an issue with my local wash. You pull in and put it in neutral, there is never a reason to put your transfer case in neutral for a car wash.

the only time you throw the driveshaft in nuetral is when you are towing becaus ethe shaft is spinning as the wheels spin at highspeeds, in a car was you are barely doing a 1/2 mile an hour and he short distance is minimal so just puting the truck into neutral is all you need to do.
