Putting this out there for any other input from others that have tried out different things.
I’m moving from Idaho to northern Alaska and I hate having to stop every few hours to fill up on gas. So the idea I came up with is this.
I’m thinking about taking a semi truck tank and having my metal fabricating friend chop it to size to fit in the bed of my truck and then plumb it to gravity feed into my stock fuel tank.
Does anyone have any experience in auxiliary tanks with some hints or things that they tried and succeeded with or failed with?
Thanks in advance!
