I how can i tell or where do you look to find your axle ratio?

You could either ask the service department for a build sheet from your VIN or look at the sticker that should be on the differential cover.

Yours should be a 3.55 or 3.92

Ok thanks i will have to take a look at the diff cover.

I went and took a look at the diff cover. Nothing on it.

send for a build sheet, it has Everything that your Ram has
even more than the window sticker

go here & then to customer assistance
ask for the Build Sheet
you will need you VIN# when you contact them

by the way, the axle ratio is glued to your right axle housing, if you went through more than a couple rain storms, its gone

If you still have the windows sticker, it will say 3.92 or 3.21. If it doesn't say, then it is 3.55(most common).

On the rear axle theres a sticker that has your gear ratio on it. Its on the botton side of the axle on the driver side.
