I am trying to install a wireless backup camera on my 2003 Dodge ram 1500. i want to not install into reverse lights but have it running while key is on. i have a slid in camper and want to see my trailer as i go down the road. My question is were can i spice into a positive and neg wire, they are all different colors into my tail lights, i cant find a black(-) or red (+) wire to splice into. As you can tell by my message i just want a simple fix and not very skilled in electrical so the simpler they better.
Any help would be great

Does your camper have clearance lights or a door light?
If it does, you could tie into that circuit, it should have a black & a white wire.
You may need to turn on the light switch for the camper to make the camera work
