1999 1500 5.2L auto trains.
Runs rough and bogs down when trying to accelerate, seems to not want to shift gears at times.
Gas mileage sucks.

I've changed
both O2 sensors
Plugs/wires/cap/rotor/coil
Tps sensor
Cleaned the throttle body

What else should I be looking at?
I'm starting to think the computer(ECM) is bad.
What is all entailed in changing the computer myself?

Check ASI motor at back of throttle body. Make sure plunger isn't stuck.

It's at back of throttle body between the two butterflies. It's held in with 2 star head screw's.

Bogging and misfires and poor gas mileage are also signs of a plugged cat and/or a vaccum leak at the plenum gasket. You can check for a plenum leak by removing the throttle body and looking at the back passenger side of the intake for any oil build up.

I plan to check the cat this weekend and I'll see if I can check the plenum gasket as you describe.
It was also brought to my attention that I may need a new distributor pickup coil.

God I hope not! Filter and pump are a unit. Great plain on dodge's part cause those don't need to be changed regular or anything:smileup:. Oh wait yes they do oops!
