I bought the BAkFlip VP for my 2014 Sport in January. I bought it from http://www.bakfliptonneaucover.com which I thought was the factory, but it isn't, it's a reseller. Apparently there have been issues with non-factory authorized resellers selling these things. Check who you are buying from before you purchase, you may not get warranty support.
I say this because one of the cables used to open it broke. I now cannot open the closest panel to the cab of the truck. I called the company I bought it from and they told me to call the factory; they gave me the number. I did and they are shipping me an assembly. However, if I had purchased it off of amazon or one of these other non-authorized places I would have been up a creek.
