I did search for something in the Forums but couldn't find anything.
2012 ram 1500 130k miles
Battery light came on while driving with AC going. Voltage showed low, needle way to the left. Shut off AC and went home.
Changed to new battery next day, alternator tested good. Everything ok for a few days. Needle to the right of the midline
Happened again, driving, low battery light, low voltage, needle down to the left. Switched out Alternator.
Everything fine for a few days, suddenly happened again last night with AC on. Shut off AC, needle went straight up and down.
I can live without AC but in Maine, I cant be without heat in winter. Any thoughts??

It's a loose or tarnished connection between the alternator & battery most likely. It was the B+ terminal on my Challenger that was not tightened enough & caused the connector to tarnish. Cleaned it up & put dielelectric grease on it, have not had an issue since.

Thank you, I'll check that out. Any lead is great.
