Anyone had any problems with a BD Turbo leaking oil with a turbo mounted exhaust brake? I fitted a Killer B last year, went for 6 weeks / 8000klm and then started leaking oil around the body. Took it off and sent it back to BD. BD said it was too much blow by, we tested the truck and nothing excessive for 160000 engine. BD actually changed the bearing and closed up the tolerances and now expect me to pay the bill. Also claiming idling with exhaust brake could have caused the problem but no advice to customers on this. Not happy with their customer service and wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem?

That's too bad. I'm trying to figure out how engine blow-by could possibly contribute to a turbo failure.

Blowbye from the engine getting into the exhaust stream and coating the turbo. Happens to drag racing guys all the time
