Best Brand of Leveling Kit

I am buying a leveling kit here soon and I was wondering what brand would be the best. I was looking at the readylift and ebay. ebay has many different types and are way way cheaper. Is there something that I am not seeing or is it just the brand that makes it that expensive. I am going to run 33x12.5 on factory 20's. Any info will be greatly appreaciated.

Hay Schnitzer 21 , before i installed my leveling kit their was 2 7/8 difference from front to back, after the 2 1/2in. leveling kit the back is still 3/4in. higher, but it looks level. I would definitely get the 2 1/2in kit. Measurement from ground to top of wheel well front is 28 1/4in. back is 29in after instalation.
I dont think you can find a kit made any better than H.B.S. they are very nice pieces.
Just make sure to follow directions, it tells you to do both sides at the same time, this is good advice because the sway bar ties the lower arms together and they wont go down far enough to install the kits unless you do both at the same time.
Good luck and I hopes this helps!!!!
Old Hot Rod,
That's the same result I had with my 2.5" Day Star. I've come to grips with the variation.
Ordered my 2.5" HBS kit this morning, hopefully it will be on my doorstep by the end of the week and I can find time this weekend to install! :)

I installed two hell bent steele 2.5 kits on two 2010 ram 1500 took me about 2 hrs on the first and about 30 min on the second. trucks now sit level and look great. be carefule not to pull the front axle out to far as it will then need to be rotated to slide back in.

ABD26 Not sure what vibration your talking about.
plumcrazy68 Good advice :rep:
Les Schwab

Anyone get their leveling kit from Les Schwab? They want $286 for a 2" kit installed with alignment. Anyone know what brand they use there?
Thanks
Old Hot Rod,
By "variation" I meant the variation in height between the front and back wheels, not vibration. Sorry if I was not clear.
Sorry ABD26,
Guess I need to learn to read!!!!
Received my 2.5" HBS kit yesterday! Hope to get it installed this weekend! :)
so how come everyone does these kind of leveling kits instead of the bilstein shock one? Just for price?
Okay, I'm convinced that I need one. I noticed on the site they mentioned some will not fit 1500 with Mega Cab. Do they mean to say Crew Cab? I have a 2010 Crew - which part do I need for a 2.5" lift?

Thanks!
go all the way to the bottom and find the one for the 08 to 11 1500 4wd 2.5 kit $79.00 can't be beat.
Well I was able to get a few free hours over the weekend and got my 2.5" HBS leveling kit installed. Took me about 3 hours to do, but I LOVE it now. Before and after pics below. Thanks to old hot rod for suggesting I go with the 2.5" instead of the 2". He was right and the rear end sits right at 1" higher than the front but looks level. Very happy with the part and results!

lookin good dude what a difference that kit made
Your kit looks so nice, and I am so dissatisfied with my 2.5" Daystar, that I just asked the dealership to switch out the Daystar (which they recommended two weeks ago) for the HBS. Let's see what happens.

Here's my 2.5" Daystar compared to your 2.5" HBS.

Yeah there is definately a difference there. I would recommend going with the HBS very good quality part and good results.

Looks really good, thanks for the pics
I had settled on leveling with Bilstein 5100 shocks, but now I found Mopar Performance has a 2" "Lift" kit for front end leveling that uses Bilsteins. The kit is P5155797 and runs $980 ish. I've attached a parts pic. Is this too much for a front level? Or is this really the right way to do it to prevent major problems down the road?

Mods can be soooo tough! :7309300734:

As a follow-up, the Dealership is going to order the HBS leveling kit and switch it for the Daystar for me. Great Dealership. I have been very impressed with them here in AZ.
