Hey guys whats the best reasonably priced flip up touch screen? im looking for one, but dont know which one to get.

Im always a fan of kenwood decks regardles of the layout. Their internal amps/preouts seem to go to a higher volume without clipping, their EQs are top notch and easy to adjust and the video in motion is the easiest to bypass.... I dont know however if they make anything that flips out lol.


With moving parts like those I would stick to one of the more well known/popular brands jsut because those are usually a little better made and you dont want the screen motor or something going out in 6th months

I have the Kenwood KVT-514 in my Ram and love it. I've had it for a few years no without any problems. I know that now there are ones that offer what this one has, but at the time this was one of the more reasonably priced ones that showed the cover art off of the iPod and was something I really wanted. I have an old iPod in my glove box that I never touch and can work everything from the head unit. I know it is an older model so you should be able to pick one up for a pretty reasonable price. Like I said, mine is a few years old and I have it where my screen automatically opens and closes everytime the car is turned on or off, so it has opened probably thousands of time and never failed. I would recommend it.

I learned the hard way that you get what you pay for! DON'T GET JENSON!!!! i thought in my last car that a deck was a deck and only paid 250 for a touch screen from jenson and learned the hard way that you get what you pay for. i'd touch it for the next song and have to wait the whole car ride for it to decide what to do. I've had friends swear on alpine! just my 2 cents
