I 2nd the vote for SCT. It's the BEST bang for the buck thing you will buy. Even with my custom 94+ octane tune, my Dakota R/T achieved 2mpg better and ran about 0.4 faster. If I put it on the dyno and tweaked it, I'm 100% sure I could get even more. Don't waste your time with anything else. I went from Superchips to Mopar PCM with jet chip to SCT and this is leaps ahead of both of those.
