My truck currently has 245/70/17's under it.
When I look in the door it says it has stock 275/70/20's

Well I only have 17" rims atm, so my question is, what is the largest size tire I can buy for these rims without living the truck ...

Truck is a 2004 Ram 1500 SLT Quad Cab 2WD

Thanks in Advance

I have an '03 quadcab slt and i have 265/70-17's on mine that have a thicker and more aggressive tread pattern on them and i only have about 2 to 2 and a half inches of space between the top of my tires and the fenders on the front...hope that helps

I believe that my tires are 33.5" tall. They are 275/75-20 R. They fit with no problem. I don't see that a 35" tire wouldn't fit just fine. Be aware of the width tho, so you don't rub the inside of your wheel well with the back of the tire.

Should be 275/60/20 for 20's, but I could be wrong. Being a 2wd you might be able to get away with a 275/70/17. Stock size should be 265/70/17 I believe.

If you are running a 275/75/20 your tires are 36.2" tall, maybe double check the tire size because that tire size wont fit just fine on a stock ram, esp a 2wd.
