I installed Bilsteins set at 2.8 on my 2011 Ram Sport today. Truck looks great but I now have a vibration in 4WD when I accelerate fast from 0-40. It only seems to do it in 4WD. I ordered new wheels and 35x12.5x20 Trail Grapplers which have not come in yet. Once I get everything set up i will do an Alignment and hopefully that will fix the problem? Anyone else have this trouble and find a solution? If the vibration is still there will it cause damage to my truck in the long run? I'm kind of wishing i went with the 2.1 setting now but I also read others have had the same issue with the 2.1 setting.

Having the whole front end geometry screwed up from the extra height definitely has the potential to cause vibration problems. Don't judge anything until you have the alignment done and everything is back in spec.

i had an alignment and I'm at the 2.1 setting.. i still get vibration, however much less than when i had it at 2.8" setting
hmmm I don't know if I should drop to the 2.1 or keep it at 2.8. I gotta pick tires out on Tuesday. Wanted the 35x12.5x20's and they won't fit with the 2.1 setting. I'd have to go to 295/60r20 Trail Grapplers. The vibration is very little driving regular in 4WD on dry pavement. When I accelerate fast it vibrates more. Not like I'll actually be doing that much. If i'm in a situation where I need 4WD I accelerate normal and I don't think it will really vibrate to much.

You're running stock wheels. Completely different fitment than aftermarket with a more negative offset.

I don't think any vibration would be good, slight binding I'm sure is the cause with the cv joints due to higher angles, I'm sure that will take its toll over time.

I'm @ 2.1 with 315/70/17 (34.6") no vibrations and nowhere near rubbing.
But yeah, like the others have said, wait until shes aligned and back in spec before worrying too much. And yeah, don't hammer it in 4wd I guess haha

Looking to level my truck. Can you measure from the bottom edge of front fender down to the center of your wheel cap? Thanks in advance!
That's if the wheel and tire setup is the same on both trucks. For example if he has 33s and I have 35s the measurements won't be accurate but to the center of hub/wheel would

Same to the ground. If you 35's you'll have two more inches. So measuring to the hub is the same thing.
