Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?
I istalled them in the front only while i wait for the back ones to arrive.
And the ride is good. I set them to get the most lift.
Installed with a help of a friend in his shop and didnt hear a thing until after a day or two. checked all the bolts and everything and everything is tight.
I hear a squeek or two every time i hit a little bump. its getting a little annoying.
Anyone know what is the cause of it and how to fix it?
Thanks in advance.
And i did search the site for a thread about it and couldnt find one..

The only thing I can think of is that you might have installed the washer on top of the coil spring bucket along with the locknut. What that will do is allow the shock piston rod to work its way through the coil bucket hole and not only cause a squeal/squeak but also cause damage to your shock rod.

I had the same thing happen with mine. It didn't squeak when i hit a big bump but it would over the little stuff. It turned out to be the top nut on the strut was not tightened enough...Look to see if they are tightened all the way down to the strut. Mine was off only a few threads and it made the squeak.....Let me know if this helps

I didnt install the washer. just the locknut. the stock ones are also installed without a washer. but i will check if they are tightened and tighten them some more. i believe its only my left side.
on the other hand i cant wait for the shocks for the back to arrive since right now my truck looks a tiny bit taller in the front.

You need to put the washer on before the upper spring seat/hardware. If you didn't that's most likely your problem as Gantman said. You need to pull them out, disassemble them and put the washer on otherwise you will run into bigger problems than just squeaking.

well got the washers machined by a good friend.
got the shocks off and had to replace top spring seats because the shock rod worked its way through it.
she shocks themselves were alright. very little wear. ill post some pics later.

now im finally stress free :)
