Truck is approaching the 65,000 mile marker and is going to need brakes soon. I've had plenty of cars that I typically put performance brakes on but they never seemed to last as long as factory.

I don't really pull anything or have anything in the bed. I'd like to have long lasting quiet brakes but want to make sure paying the money at a dealership is worth it.

What do you/have you all put on your trucks in the past for brakes and give your opinion of the decision?

Mine made it to around 75,000 miles and I replaced them with the PowerStop AutoEvolution OEM replacements. Only 4000 miles since, so I can't speak to their longevity, but I have been very pleased with their performance

I had 50 k on my OEM and still had alot of pad left! BUT a minor warp in the front rotors! Since my retired part time job is at a Auto Parts store and I get a good discount I went with new WAGNER OE X pads with the new rotors.. On less then 1 k but they really seems smooth, will see if the extra $ is worth it or not lol.But reviews were real good on them ! Like you I do not haul my RAM is a Pavement Queen
