I read that you can just swap 2000 dual piston 1500 calipers onto a 1999 1500 no problem.I don't see how.anyone with more info?

I just did some research and I don't think it will fit. I looked up a dual piston for a 2000 1500 then changed the vehicle to a 1999 and it said it would not fit.

Yeah someone also said lite duty 3/4 ton calipers will work,but I don't see how without changing the spindle.and I'm not going through all that

If I remember correctly, you have to also swap out the bracket. Bracket, calipers and rotors. When you apparently order the replacement parts they will say they wont fit the year but thats the common computer set up, any modified parts needs to have a record for the next person to work on it or if needing replacement parts, keep part numbers to order without all the hassle.
