Love the 318. See lots of guys are saying just go 360. I don't wanna go that way because it's a low mileage motor. I have done a few things to it already. So I'm wondering about a cam and maybe headers. Has anyone tried this. And what parts you went with. And did it work without Re doing to much on the heads. Or just keep saving money.

Ok will. Do. I do live in Canada so looks like it's going like a 4000 dollar part. Guess I gotta work harder. Prochargers are just about 7000 here.
Oh yeah, those pro chargers are nice and all but if you don't want more than 650RWHP then the torque storm is fine. It's what I'm going to use to round out my top end.

I do recommend getting an intercooler as that kit relies on meth injection to prevent detonation.

Good luck!

A 318 Magnum will kick out 400hp at 6K with a carb and a cam of .480 lift on the cam. Not much more to it with MPI and computer, and do you really think you'll just bolt on a blower and NOT need to re-tune the computer to achieve the numbers you're tossing around? Hey, do what you want.

So just Hurd back from comp cams. Found a nice street cam I think will work. Going to order in the next few days. Not sure if anyone else is keeping up with this but will keep posting. And yes the computer will be tuned :4-dontknow:Just have to find sombody to do it before the build started. I'm thinking depending on shipping about a month. I hope.

Ok so on the order list is. xtreme energy series cam 20-221-3.* The rpm range of this cam is 1000 -5200. Also I'm getting the k kit from comp cams K20-221-3 . Guy said don't need a computer tune for this. But if any one is following this feed back would be great. Good way to go?
Thanks again.

Ok update. Parts still in route. Spent about 6 hours cutting and grinding and polishing the throttle body. Only to find out there are apparently 2 different throttle hook ups. So something to watch before picking one out of the junk yard. Ya that was stupid. But good practice I guess.
