Can anyone tell me if a bumper off a 2500 will fit on a 1500? (2010)
I really like the look of the 2500 front end and think it would be cool to mount one one my TRX4 if it would fit.

Thanks in advance. Jim

I'm not sure as far as the mounting goes but as far as just trying to swap bumpers will not work. You would have to do a complete front end swap; bumper, grille, and hood if I remember correctly. There is a member that did a 2500 front end on his 1500 and it does look pretty good.

Thanks for the info Mopar Big Horn.
If that's the case I'll pass on that idea. Alot more work and money than I'm willing to part with. I was hoping it would just be a simple bumper swap.

Ya, sure would look bad ass but I'm not sure I want to drop that much cash. My truck looks great already I was just looking to make the front end look a little meaner!!

I'm a macinist at a mold shop and have access to all kinds of machines so maybe I'll look around for a cheap 2500 bumper and see if I can fab up some mounts to see what it would look like just swapping the bumper out? A good winter project.

A guy on DT did it a few years ago. You need bumper, grille, hood, and filler panels below the lights. Also the mounting points are different in location and position. I believe he had the frame horns cut off and new brackets welded in. It's definitely not a driveway project.
