I have a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7l. It has been burning oil for some time only after it's warm and while idling. so when I take off from a stop I leave a big puff of blueish smoke. I've always kept it topped off as needed. Lately I've decided to try and tackle this once and for all. I've tried additives but nothing works. I have to add about a quart every other week or so. I've done a compression test wet and dry and all cylinders were good. I was going to change the valve stem seals but found out I need a special spring compressor for that. I am going to do a leak down test today. Does anyone know if it matters if I add the air into top or bottom bank of spark plugs?

Thanks in advance for any input.
