I have the factory remote start on my 11 ram 1500. Its a bummer that it isn't a 2 way remote start, because i cant tell if my truck starts in the morning. (live in an apartment, don't have a line of sight to the truck.)

Is there a way to convert my factory starter to a two way? I saw the drone mobile systems, but they are saying they are only compatable with an aftermarket starter, not the OE one.

Any help or suggestions would be radical. I'd rather not spend the $800 for a compustar two way remote starter, and have to carry around another FOB lcd thingy.

i installed compustar remote starters for a living, that will be possible here in the future, just not yet, at the last training in cleveland last month they mentioned it, but its still in the testing phase
