Okay so I've been thinking about trying to convert my hood scoop from one thats just for show to one that actually works as an air intake. For reference to what i'm talking about look at the dodge viper air intake. I've been looking at this since I got my truck a few years ago and so far it looks entirely possible however before i attempt anything I want to see if anyone has done this before or has any ideas on the matter. any help is appreciated. thanks.

If you have the srt10 hood you can use the volant cai with the scoop that attaches to the top to make the hood functional.

I have the 2012 Ram with the Dual Scoop , and was windering the same thing is there any kits out there to make it functional , and does a cold air intake really make tht much of a differance ?
