I was cleaning under my truck the other day after some fun off-roading and realized that my muffler seemed to be rusting away. So I thought time for a new exhaust system! Any suggestions on which cat-back system is the best? I want more power, obviously, and something that is going to be loud and throaty but not wake the neighbors up at 3am. Thanks in advance guys!

I like the Magnaflow systems. The sound, quality and competitive price of their systems make for a best buy IMHO. The sound is not obtrusive in the cabin, quiet down the road but definitely a great sound when you get on it.

I had Magnaflow on my '99 and I have it on my '06 300 SRT8 and the '07 Hemi Ram.

I've noticed that the Borla systems sound very much like the Magnaflow systems.

The Flowmaster systems are just a bit too loud in the cabin for me. I like to hear the music.

I'd suggest magnaflow as well, it's a reliable kit and quite popular. A kit should run around $5-600 for the single pipe rear exit.

I just did a single in, dual out Magnaflow muffler with new tail pipes made up by my local shop. Less than $400 out the door.

I have a Flowmaster american thunder series and I love it. It is not too loud cruising but has a nice throaty rumble on acceleration. btw it is a 3" single.
