First, I pick the girl on your right, your friend or not I don't care. If it's your daughter... well then Dad we're going to be spending a lot more time together, thank god we have things in common like modding and beer :D But I must detest your "all other colors are boring" though sir... no no no, there's no changing your mind and saying "well okay I forgot about that color and/or I like your truck".

It's cool...

I have the ugly duckling in the family. But by god I will make sure that thing is shined up and GLEAMING everyday so if there's just an off chance that I might stop by to visit, or your running down to the border to grab parts and I'm already there waiting for goodies you'll get a sharp sun beam right in your eyes bouncing off my bright blue boring paint job. It haunts you and eventually you'll be driving down the street past a McDonald's and BOOM there it is again and you'll just flip your lid going "Dammit there it is again!! Typical fricken American with his shined up Chrome and bright Blue boring paint at a damn McFatty's!! Everywhere I go it's like a screwed up version of where's Waldo where it's damn easy to find him

But really I'm looking forward to the build of your new truck, and thank you Shawn for pointing me in the right direction

Hahaa I see what your saying, I hate it when people do the over the top chrome with the pillars and the fuel door and tailgate handle, chrome visors it's very easy to make it tacky. Maybe that's why there's no DWB trucks in the states, they kept them all in Canada lol

That grill is going to look bad ass with the angry goat in there. You should bring it down to Gatty next year :D

that's sweet, I'm working on a custom set from AAC right now for 4th gens but damn those are awesome, great job Kurtis!! With the RGB cntroller I don't think you'd be able to run a steady color in different shift modes. It would have to be a single color to work unless you ran different wires from each color to where you wanted them to go, that's a lot of wiring and relays to make that work with an RGB controller to work in operation with your shifter

You are working on a custom set on your present headlamps?

If it's possible, it's a bit up in the air right now:thk:

Damn you Steven!
Oh sure now you spell my name right

The only way I can see running the DRLs with the proper '13 set up would be to run from an ignition-on power source that's relayed with the shutter and parking lamp, I'm thinking maybe a DPDT to control both sides with one relay. Since the in the '13s the TIPM controls the LED functionality it would be difficult to judge how it'd react when you have the DRL active and go to use the turn signal. Granted, that's the point of the harness I built, to play around with it.

Once I get the DRLs figured out I'll be forwarding my info to Jeremy. I'm not doing this to make money, I'm doing it improve products so others can get what they need in the future.

I've bought enough to make 5 pairs now, so I'll experiment and then i plan to sell off the ones that work, at cost.
ok I'm a bit confused, the DRL's is the "Auto" mode on my light selector switch right, because even with that selected my lights are never on in the afternoon. I honestly never really looked at a set of 13' lights as far as function goes, so is that LED strip on the bottom also the blinker? How hard would it be to just add an LED strip vertically on the side separately wired as a blinker. To me it just seams like it would be easier to re-wire everything than try to match up connectors, even though it's a pain as well I'm sure. :4-dontknow:

All that work for 2 damn plugs, bet you'll never forget those again on a future build lol I hear ya on the AC lines, I've been hunting for someone here in town to do the same thing. Hopefully next time around you can get that beast started back up and running, what's the Painless Wiring setup you mentioned though?

Inner CV joint victim #1. Ordered a set of Kore inner CV joints yesterday morning at the tune of $850, but should prevent this in the future.

Literally, broke that sh!t apart. No clunking to indicate the joint going out, that sh!t just sheared right the f off. Caused by accidentally switching the truck into 4wd when removing the switch to reinstall into the center console that I had just refinished.

" I need to do more to make it all work properly/better, she gets a little angry, but c'est la vie."

Perfect timing :D
