Thats starting to look pretty sweet. Lights look sweet
Yeah, the passenger-side has been zero issues, the driver-side is a different story...and I was using it as an example, but it's time to fix it. The passenger-side was 100% completely sealed, including the vents and harness, even my HID wiring harness is sealed going through the back of the door. The driver-side housing has unsealed vents... and it started to fog. Kind of proof to me that preventing moisture from entering is better than trying to remove it.Nice! Looks like it is starting to come together. Can't wait to see what all you do to this engine.
Edit: I see what you did there with that second picture!
The plug/connector on the headlight itself was the weak point for mine. After I sealed that up I haven't had fogging issues since.
LMAO, my first reaction to seeing the hood on the paint stand: "Wow, it's very green"F$#% DUDE!
Your truck is turning into one BADASS truck!
Love everything....I couldn't envision the lime green, but I am DIGGING it now
But DAMN! It does look good.LMAO, my first reaction to seeing the hood on the paint stand: "Wow, it's very green"I am absolutely in love with this color, I can't wait to get the rest of the truck painted next year. I was going to do it this spring, but I bought the new engine/trans instead.
Thought about blacking the scoop, but decided against it. I will see how it goes in time but I'm probably going to leave it solid green because it's such a sweet color; it's definitely been drawing some heads since it went on yesterday. But DAMN! It does look good.
You throwing any black onto that hood? Vinyl decal?
Just asking....
I was thinking black hood spears....but :4-dontknow:Thought about blacking the scoop, but decided against it. I will see how it goes in time but I'm probably going to leave it solid green because it's such a sweet color; it's definitely been drawing some heads since it went on yesterday.
Received the final parts last week and will start assembly of the top end/timing set in July, after my wedding and plant shut down. I have decided against the cam upgrade until the tuning is more under control. Stu was willing to give it a try, but really wanted the truck to get it right.Hey man when do you plan on building that motor? This is just me letting you know to swap to a pre vvt block so you can run a big cam in it with that supercharger. Just find a 08 block and build from there this is what all the LX guys are doing because VVT is the problem....
The whole phaser limiter from what ive been told is a complete waste of time as no one can tune the big blower cams once installed...
Yup, ACR Viper snake skin green. :Wow1: This color is absolutely amazing in person.WOW!!! That truck is looking amazing. I love that green
Is it the viper green?
