Well I have 1 on right now, three to go! I had no idea how much harder the fourth gen door handles were to take off and replace!

And for the regulars out there!

:worthless:

I'll post a pic in the morning when the light comes out and I don't want to gas rag my own fuel tank!

If you have not done the mirror caps yet there easy as well , Just pop the glass out remove 3 screws holding it in . I had mine sanded smooth and painted it looks 5x better than the black plastic . As for the handles I have swaped one handle to all painted on my rcsb express and i hated it .

Sorry it took so long, here are a few pics and a good before/after comparo!!!

Door panel off....the little opening is what you have to wiggle your arm through to remove the 3 bolts for the back of the handle

Bolts taken out!

Empty hole where the handle goes :)

Before...front After...back!

As she sits now!!! Not the best pic, but I tried! :)

Next up is the grille and the bumpers!!!!

Look for a set of 4 chrome/bright silver handles in the 4 sale section soon!!

I installed the chrome with the painted base door handles on my truck. You are right, it is a PTA, more so because of my Popeye forearms.

The correct way to do this is probably to remove the entire window assembly but it looked difficult and I did not want to screw anything up.
