whats the code? if you dont have a code reader, cycle the key on and off really fast about 3 or 4 times and then wait. you'll see your odometer flash a P code. if you get it i can tell you probably what it is
yea thanks man. i took the tube off and shoved it a little farther in and unplugged the battery for about 20 minutes and boom, light off.make sure you didnt damage the pins the in the connector and if you got a replacement one make sure you get a good one from napa or carquest. autozone and advance auto parts or any chain store like that usually you'll end up with a bad sensor right out of the gate. if you got a volt meter make sure you got ground on one side of the connector i believe it might be a blue/green wire dont hold me to it. and its going to be a 5volt on the other side since its a share reference voltage with the map and a few other sensors. i know these wire can break right below the wire covering at the connector and you'll never see it. i usually a little carb cleaner on the rubber grouments right before i stick the air temp sensor in and then plug it in. depends on the intake set up it might make the wire stretch to far and cause it to break. so check everything and the power and ground. i find using a paper clip straighten out you can probe the connector with out damaging it on the plug side. need any other assitance send me a private message
