A few mods Mrs. Claus got for me for Christmas. Hopefully work and the weather will co-operate soon and I can get them installed. Set of 4 Polished Billet Lock Pins and Bezels. Mopar S/S Door Sill Guards. Mopar LED Cargo Box Lights.

How and where do those LED light bars mount? Many times I've tried finding/doing stuff in the back of my truck in the dark. The back cab light really doesn't cut it.

How are they switched?
According to the instructions their wired into the harness inside the A-post. That way they can be turned on with the cargo light switch in the dash or with the key fob when you unlock the doors.

Well got 2 of the 3 Christmas Mods done. Both were a breeze to do.
Only problem I had was the rear lock rods are relatively short. When I removed the factory lock pins the rod fell to the side, inside the door. Used a curved dental pick. Slipped the bezel over the dental pick then hooked the lock rod and seated the bezel which held the lock rod in place to install the pin. And yes the doors were unlocked but the rod is still to short. Like the look for 2 simple mods.

Are the lock pins Billet Tech?
They certainly are. Their not listed under the RAM section of Billet Tech's web site. Look under the section for the Charger.

Awesome! Think that I am going to order me a set of burnt orange ones. With the rears being short, does it affect the operation at all?
Not that I can see. They lock an unlock same as the OEM one's. One thing i did notice is because of the style of the Billet Tech lock pins, if you screw them all the way down when the door's lock it makes a clack sound. It's the lock pin coming into contact with the bezel. What I did was unlock the door's, remove the lock pin, couple drops of Blue LocTite, re install lock pin, then lock door's. I then backed them off a couple of turns. Worked perfectly.
