I have a '05 QCSB Hemi 2WD, at the moment is bone stock other than a tire/wheel change. Came with the 20" "flower petal" wheels stock, and have since replaced them with 17" stock steelies with 285/70r17 BFG A/Ts which is the same overall width/diameter as the stock tires on 20s.
I've been thinking about ordering up a set of lift spindles for the truck, as I've grazed the front end on bumps and valleys on dirt roads around here a few times, but being that it's also my tow rig, I'm not trying to make this into an off road monster (I also have a '62 Scout 4x4 rock crawler, and a buggy built similar to class 10 specs...I don't need, nor want, to beat on the Ram off road, lol).
Looking at CST's website, it says after installing the spindles...I can fit a 33" tire....say what? It's not a huge concern right away, as there's still quite a bit of life left in the BFGs now, but if I can't go bigger than stock...I wonder how much lift am I really going to be getting from these spindles? Do I have to go with the whole setup (spindles/coils/spacers/control arms/etc) to get any real height gain?
