Hi All, I have 2017 ram 1500 w/5.7... I am having some temperature issues... is there any way to tell if I am low on coolant? Any way to see the level it is at with my eyes?

The coolant reservoir (not the radiator) has a level indicator. On a cold engine remove the reservoir's cap and then lift out the level gauge. It will show the coolant level. If it is dry, fill the reservoir to the full mark on the gauge. Check it again on a cold engine after the truck has been driven and add coolant as needed. Make sure you use the correct coolant!

If the expansion tank isn't clear just confirm the overflow breather is free and top it off.
~100k miles and you're due for a water pump/thermostat, 3 way bypass could be part of the mix if it's the transmission overheating.
