So I've been looking into adding some subs to my new Crew cab. But, I'm currently still debating on the best option for what box to buy.

The first box ive found is off ebay called q-power. (From VMinovations) It fits 2 12's and is only $63 shipped...

Price tag is great on this one, but have seen people say they are cheap and not worth it..?

The next box that I am looking at is a FoxBox. I have read alot of good things about it. (on a couple pretty negative things as well.)

This box is ~$250 shipped. Seems like it should be much better then the q-power. Just looking for others people opinions on what they think i should do. :4-dontknow:

Also I Currently have an audiopipe mini 1500 watt amp ill be using, and possibly buying new subs. I have 2 pioneer 12's that are both rated at 400 rms from my old truck, but thinking about buying something a bit louder/ may just keep them if i cant fir them into my new truck.

I have came across those boxes. which are even more expensive the the fox box.

pay up front or pay later

that's definitely the same reoccurring theme I've been coming across.... i see you have a net audio box?

Would you say that box is worth the added amount of money as compared to the foxbox?

Absolutely worth every penny. If you want maximum bass from minimum space then there is no comparison. I can take my .8 cu ft NETAUDIO with 12" Dayton eating 800 watts rms off my ARC amp, and make the windows rattle in truck and there is no reverb or cavitation sound when it's happening. I had the restriction of a single side when I had my box done and I wanted a box that could handle a 1000wrms sub without blowing apart.
You could probably run a 400 wrms sub in the ported Fox Box and it would be close to same volume SPL, but you would have to raise the seat and it would never have the SQ of my box, nor would it reach as low.
It's all what you want out of your system. I've just heard a few of the pre-fab boxes with 800-1000 wrms subs being driven hard it sounds like the woofer is in a box that is too large, a sloppy sound to me. I keep feeling around for air leaks.
If you want loud and you don't care about space then go with a dual ported fox with a low end woofer like a S series Alpine or Fosgate P2 that you can get for under $100 each and raise the seat an inch; toss in a good 500wrms amp and it will get loud, but it's gonna be boom.

Absolutely; dump out that Tote and start inventory:) It's time to strip, solder and turn the smile making volume up. Nothing suppresses "Road Rage" more than someone that doesn't want to get out of their vehicle :)

Netaudio is the only way to go. Solid as a rock, and keeps the factory look aven if you get the tall box (and lift the rear seat.) I have the single tall, which holds a JL Audio 12W6V3-D4, and I built a matching amp shelf for the other side (which houses my JL 600/1, JL JX360/4, and JBL MS-8.) It all sounds amazing and looks completely factory. I would post pictures, but I am away from home until December. I only get to appreciate it once a week as I drive from the airport to my house to do laundry.
