I have an 2004, how tough is it to replace the dash lights? I have one or two burned out for the heater controls, and the head light switch area is pitch black also.

They are a small set of LED's on a board, I believe, that is integrated into the switch assembly. You end up replacing the assembly as the lights aren't a service part.

My HVAC control lights don't light up all the way...I tap on the switch and, voila! they are back on.

The heater control lights are small bulbs that you twist into a small socket, very easy to replace.
The headlight switch actually has the light soldered to the circuit board.
