I have a 2010 ram 1500 Laramie, the truck was built in the US but when i got it, it had Canada inspection stickers on, that being said, I wanted to disable the DTR's, i took it into a dealership and they told me that they couldn't shut them off in the computer, ive been doing some research and found there should a DTR module, ive not been able to find any pics showing where it is, if anyone could help me this, that would be great

I had a dealer turn on the DRL's in my 2011. There is no module, it is done by adding/deleting a sales code or possibly a customer preference available with the wiTECH. Call another dealer, they should be able to change the setting.

If they can't do it, just take it into a shop. call and ask if they have the chrysler diagnostic tool. You can do it in there.

I gave up with the dealer and went that route.

2010 dodge ram DRL on canadian built truck

After having a couple dealers try, they could not turn them off, however, i figured a way to do it,

I cut the positive wire to the brights and ran the 2 wires from each light into the cab and wired them into a switch, one switch will work, you will have to run a bit of wire as you cannot wire them in series, the cut wires have to go to the switch, once there you can wire both headlights onto one switch, this disables the DRL's and the brights, if you want the brights simply turn the switch on and they will work, you can leave them on if you want the DRL's to work or shut them off, i got no fault codes and everything works great. my truck has the quad headlights
