Hey guys, I'm looking at getting a tuner for my truck. Think I want to go with the DiabloSport Intune. Whats your guys opinions on it? If you have any other recommendations for tuners i'd love to hear them. Mainly going for fuel economy.

Ive got one and I like it. I haven't dyno'd it to see what gains I've gotten but the website says 25HP/25TQ. It is definitely more responsive now. Plus you have the option of data logging and sending those logs to a custom tuner and they can write you a tune specifically for your trucks needs and will dial in the mods you have. Keep in mind it's a new platform and you might need a little patience while they dial in tunes and setup. I had to wait a few days to talk to tech support so it would load a tune on my truck. Im happy with it and it only takes 30 seconds to load a tune vs upwards of 10 minutes with the predator. You also don't need any extra cables to transfer your data or download updates with it. I say GO FOR IT!

I have the DSP on the wife's charger.. it gave us 10 rear wheel horsepower increase on the dyno at the LX nationals.. now remember HP is relative to many things.. it was in the mid to high 80's that day.. maybe on a 50 to 60 degree day pick up 2 or 3 more..anyway the DSP is the tuner to have IMO.

I have the InTune and I can tell you this, that mutha halls now. I have used the diablo tune that is for 93 octane, and I am using the 91 tune now. For some odd reason I had a few times where I had spark knock using Shell 93 gas. I have never had an issue before with Shell gas, but I did with that tune. I would try using BP, or Sunoco, but I am a Kroger card member and save on either Kroger, or Shell gas. I filled up the other day with 93 Shell I had a dollar off and it was 3.119 after the discount. Anyways, the 91 tune is good. I asked the question on the DS forum and this is what the guy told me.
Gains depend on a lot of things..

MPG booster is not designed around power gains, but MPG gains.
87 tune will add about 15 rwhp, 20 ft/lbs
91 about 15-20 rwhp, 20-25 ft/lbs
93 tune 20-25 rwhp, 20-25 ft/lbs.

I tried and tried to jump on the gas and see what would happen, before the intune. I would get a chirp. Now, when I jump on it I can lay a patch of rubber about twice the length of my RAM. That is a 4x4 Quad cab with 3.55 rear end, lol. My advice is DO IT!!!
