If you just don't like the DODGE there, you can get some stuff (Walgreen's has it) - called "Grip it" "Get a Grip" or something like that. It's a black honeycomb material that you can literally just lay on the dash and then stuff you put on it is supposed to stay there - kinda tacky - by that I mean sticky not trashy. You could get a piece of that and cut it to fit - attach with a little 3M tape.

Aside from glasses I'm at a loss as to what you might do there.

mine holds my e-cig mod perfectly, like it was built for that, it rolls a little bit but I like it. Really thoughm the rubber mat pulls up exposing two torx screws, from there you could pretty much mount whatever you want in its place by adding a couple holes for the screws to go back through.

I'll have to post a pic of my 'sunglasses mod' - it's not really a mod, but I bought a simple rubber sunglasses holder [pouch] (looks like the old style glasses cases without a flap or lid, and without a back side) and 3M'd to the inside of my center console. Looks like it was made that way, and hold the sunglasses perfect.

Does anyone know if there is space under that tray, and if it's easily removable? I'm thinking of cutting a small hole and affixing an iPhone connector, making it a docking station. If there's space, I can run it to the radio instead of the USB connection in the glove box.

I use my iPhone for navigation and tunes, so I figured its the perfect spot. (Plus I'd take it with me, so no risk of theft).

That's basically what I did with my Droid. There isn't much room, but there is enough for some mounting hardware and wiring. I took the car dock for my phone, cut the suction cup off the bottom, and glued a few nuts in the base. I used a hole that was already in the tray for the bolt that holds the dock, and drilled a second hole for the wire. I just had to cut 2 small holes in the rubber mat and put everything together after that.

My sunpass goes there when in use... Seems like anything you put there goes flying across the truck when you make a turn though (or maybe I just corner too hard lol).
