On of my 1st mods was to replace my stock antenna with an aftermarket antenna that looked like an arrow. Last week I went to remove the antenna in order to get my truck washed. The threaded insert that connected the antenna to the antenna lead on the front fender snapped deep in the lead. I tried to drill out the broken insert but was unable to get it out with damage to the lead. I purchased a new lead, but can't figure out the best way to remove and replace the lead.

Has this happened to anyone else? any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was able to reach in through the kick panel to remove the mast and change it. Carwash got mine.

can you give any details on how you did this? How do I remove the plastic kick panel?
