Before i wind up living in a card board box or dumpster to cover
fuel costs
i was wondering if it is worth doing the dpf and egr delete on
my 2011, ram 3500.
Or do you know anyone looking for a $60,000 fuel guzzler

LMAO, yes it's worth doing it. The DPF is the absolute killer of power, and you'll get a MPG or 2 out of it. However, the best bet to increase your MPGs is to install a propane injection system. you'd be looking around the 30-35MPH range with a propane system, and propane is dirt cheap compared to diesel, not to mention the gains in power as well
Our 09 went from 14-15 average a tank to 21-24
Now with the h&s mini maxx on the mild 400 hp tune and valair dual disc it's getting about 20

Yep thats about what I got out of my h&s tuner. Well worth it!
Is getting this tuner all you need or do u actually have to modify the engine and exhaust system? I guess I'm not familiar with the deletes..
The H&S will allow you to remove the computer programming for the EGR and DPF, but you still have to physically remove the parts. It may be hard to find the tuner since the enviro-feds have been going hard after companies that allow the bypass of federal emission equipment.
I read with the new H & S tuner that you did not need to remove the EGR, just deactivate it.
as for the DPF, is that something you just unhook, or do you need to physically remove it, and replace with something else?
