Basic problem: Driving and engine dies.

Facts: Problem started a month ago when driving the engine would just die. Seems to do so at about 2000 rpm. Got worse. One day would not start. Starter cranked fine. Would not push start.

Effort to date: Engine cranks. Checked fuses. Dropped gas tank, checked connection and lines. Clean gas tank and replaced fuel pump. Started up and drove fine for three blocks. Died. Restarted and drove back home. Won't start. Research indicates maybe the cam shaft position sensor.

Suggestions? Ideas? Comments? Help???:Hey:

Do you have any codes? sometimes you will have codes but pending also.

If it is a cam/crank sensor it would defiantly throw a code. let us know what you find.

Agreed ^^^^ you should have a CEL on by now. Most parts stores check it for free so if you can get it there that's where I'd start.
